Senior Accountant – Fuel Crops Demeter Limited –
Lilongwe, (but will be required to travel to the farm between Balaka and
Liwonde from time to time
Manage the day to day accounting functions and accounting staff of the company
under the auspices of the Financial Controller, Monitor all expenses, Prepared
budget and monitor ac
tual performance vs budget, Accurately prepare and submit
Accounting Reports as required by the Management, Responsible for the General
ledger and subsidiary ledgers of the company
Degree in Accounting with CPA/ACCA or Chartered Accountancy or equivalent
required or significant progress towards CPA/ACCA, Masters degree is preferred,
IAS exposure, Minimum experience of 5 yrs, including managing accounting staff,
Fluency in English, Proficient in MS Office suite, good understanding of IT
issues and the role and possibilities of IT in financial management, Thorough
understanding of operational risk, Demonstrated abilities in budget preparation
and management, and general ledger management, Experience in Cost and
Management accounting, Financial analysis-long/med/short term finical
planning,
