FREE Hospitality Training Program – LOGAN and/or IPSWICH

This is not a job but is a  (no cost) 10 week Hospitality course
that may lead to employment
COMMENCING: 14 JULY 2014
Worklinks Hospitality Partnership – 
Working with the Logan and Ipswich Communities
Worklinks will be offering a Community Learning
Hospitality Program, starting 14 July 2014. This 10 week program is designed to
help participants transition into employment.
This program will be available in both Ipswich and
Logan.
This course will be provided free-of-charge
to selected participants who commit to undertaking a full-time, 10 week
training program. Participants will be given the opportunity to complete a
Certificate II in Hospitality via three days of training and two days of unpaid
work experience each week during this period.
This program will focus on assisting those

disadvantaged learners that are not on income support or are not accessing
Australian Government employment services or assistance.

To be eligible, disadvantaged learners must also:
  • be 15 years of age and above and no longer at
    school
  • be Queensland residents, New Zealand citizens
    permanently residing in Queensland, Australian permanent residents
    residing in Queensland or humanitarian entrants living in Queensland, or
    temporary residents with necessary visa and work permits on the pathway to
    permanent residency  
  • not already hold a certificate level III
    qualification or higher qualification.
