Senior Sub-Contract Engineers/ Sub-Contract Engineers
(Johor)

Responsibilities:
A. Pre-Contract Responsibilities
• Assist in the preparation of Subcontracting Plans and Strategies.
• Assist in the identification and sorting of subcontractors for each contract packages.
• Prepare and issue subcontractors Pre Qualification documents. Evaluate and recommend subcons for pre-qualification.
• Preparation, issuance, evaluation of Tender documents. Negotiation with Subcontractors. Preparation of bid tabs and bid recommendations, letter of awards.
• Conduct kick-off meetings.

B. Post-Contract Responsibilities
• Contract Administration work
• Re-measurement of quantities (civil, structural, mechanical, E&I depending on line of specialty)
• Progress measurement, processing of progress claims
• Change Management
• Contract close-out
• Contractor evaluation

Requirements:
• Degree/Diploma, with at least 8 years relevant experience in pre-contracts administration in petroleum refineries, petrochemical, chemical and pharmaceutical plants.
• Possess the ability to read and take-off quantities from drawings.
