Position Summary
Reporting to our Corporate Chef, as a member of the R&D team you will be responsible for creating a wide variety of baked pastries and sweet goods in a large industrial commercial bakery manufacturing environment.
Primary Responsibilities
• Create/ bake a variety of pastries & sweet goods such as cookies, muffins, loaves in our test kitchen
• Assist with various sweet goods product development projects
Required Skills and Experience
• Must have previous pastry chef experience, ideally in a bakery environment
• Baking experience with muffins, cookies and other sweet goods
• Culinary training/ experience
• Ability to handle pressure/ deadlines in a fast paced environment is a must
• Must be capable of working in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to pay close attention to details (create & follow recipes), with a sense of pride in one’s work
• Passion and creativity for baking/ food is a must!
