Job Description:
Evergreen Power Ltd
is actively seeking an Electrical Journeyman to complete Solar PV installations
on residential, commercial, and industrial projects alongside an apprentice.
Evergreen Power’s
Journeymen Electricians are responsible for the efficient organization of
material, labour and equipment/tools during a project and will report to the
directly to the Site Foreman. Journeyman will be responsible for the testing,
final quality inspection and documentation. Travel during the week will
be required to job sites in various locations around Ontario. Travel
expenses, including meals and accommodations, will be paid.
Requirements:
- Valid
Electrical C of Q License to work in Ontario - Ability
to interpret and create single line electrical drawings - Self-starter
with excellent time management skills - Demonstrated
commitment to safe working practices - Experience
in renewable energy installations - Excellent
communication skills - Good
customer relations skills - Ability
to apply judgment - Excellent
problem solving skills - Detail
orientated - Works
well with others; able to work independently - Valid
“G” drivers license - Must
provide own safety boots - Able to
lift and carry up to 60 lbs
Due to the
geographic location of projects, overnights during weekdays are regularly
required.
