We do this because we believe it should be fun and easy for everyone to get out there and discover all the GREEN stuff to do, see and buy in the city. About You
ethicalDeal is recruiting brand ambassadors to join in the fun at some of the best GREEN events in Toronto, Victoria or Vancouver and ultimately grow our community of ethicalShoppers. Lend a hand and your amazing smile to our GREEN message and help represent ethicalDeal at our lineup of fun eco-friendly events across the city!
Your goal is to engage consumers on-site in various public locations (community events, parks, street festivals etc.). Your objective is to work in a team to promote ethicalDeal and gain new subscribers. You should be charismatic, engaging, entertaining and passionate about introducing people to GREEN living through daily deals from local GREEN companies.
Location
• You will be required to travel to different locations throughout your city.
Duration
• June 21 — September 21, 2011. Time commitment of approximately 15 hours a week (2-3 shifts), most of it occurring on weekends, but some day/evening may be required. Work in a team of 2-4.
Compensation
• $12/hour + competitive bonus plan
Ideal Candidates will Possess the Following
• An interest in green living
• An understanding of group buying/daily deals
• Tremendous personalities who have people “stopping” power
• Highly outgoing and experienced in engaging consumers
• Direct experience in field marketing an asset
• Excellent communication skills: ability to absorb, understand and communicate information effectively
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
• Able to maintain high energy/stamina levels while working effectively in a team environment
• Reliable and punctual
• A Driver’s License
