This challenging and fast paced role requires a
highly organised and motivated individual with technical textile and garment
construction knowledge and an understanding of the design and development
process. Liaising daily with our USA office and factories this position
re

quires an exceptional eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem
solving.

Duties will involve the following primary
functions:

Assisting with garment fit and detail comment
sessions during the sampling process.
Coordinating and completing quality assurance
checks on weekly production shipments.
Communication with USA office and customer
service to assure the maintenance of company quality standards and
procedures.
Communication of quality control issues to
factories and suppliers, resolving issues accurately and efficiently.
Travelling to off shore factories for sampling
QC checks of new collections, 2 times per year or the equivalent of
approximately 2-3 weeks travel per calendar year.

To succeed in this role you will possess the
following qualifications:

Have minimum of TAFE graduate knowledge of
garment construction including knowledge of sewing, pattern making,
grading, and the ability to do trade sketches.
Have excellent organisational skills and
administrative strengths
Have excellent numerical skills
Be highly proficient in Microsoft Office
Possess strong time management skills to meet
tight deadlines
Have meticulous attention to detail
Have exceptional written and verbal
communication skills
Be procedure and process orientated with a
strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Work experience within the fashion industry is
desired but not essential.
