Responsibilities:
Assist in various tasks to support City Green’s existing homes energy assessment consulting services and conservation projects, including but not limited to:
• Inform and schedule homeowners for home energy assessments.
• Assist with awareness raising and outreach campaigns for a variety of City Green services to varied groups, including phone calls and print material preparation.
• If successful applicant has the skills, assist with translation of City Green print materials.
• Assist with multiple tasks, including data entry, filing, reminder calls to clients, and other tasks as needed.
Qualifications (Skills and Experience)
• Personal and professional fit with City Green’s vision and mission.
• Self-directed, flexible, and motivated.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced team environment.
• Good communication (oral, written and telephone) skills.
• Additional oral/written language skills a strong asset (e.g. French, Spanish, etc).
• Ability to interact well with contractors and homeowners.
• Working towards a diploma/degree in relevant field (post-Secondary training in Engineering, Computer Studies, Environmental Studies, Resource Management, Business Administration, Geography, Marketing and Communications, English, Design, or Journalism).
• Construction or building science an asset.
• Sales experience an asset.
Eligibility:
• Was registered as a full-time student during the preceding academic year.
• Intends to return to school on a full-time basis during the next academic year.
• Is a student in a secondary, post-secondary, CEGEP, vocational or technical program.
• Is between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment.
• Is a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
• Is legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations.

• Position is subject to funding.
