ELI has arranged very low cost volunteer opportunities in one of the most beautiful villages you’ll ever visit. Tengeru, a lush agricultural village at the base of massive Mt. Meru is the site of our comfortable volunteer house. The diversity within Tanzania is stunning. the country is home to over 120 ethnic groups, the equatorial
snows of Kilimanjaro, the Serengeti plains teeming with wildlife, and the white sand beaches of Arab and Indian influenced Dar es Salaam. Work with the local people, or venture out into our locations among the Maasai.
Volunteers can help with a variety of projects including:
• Orphanages & Children’s Programs
• Teaching
• Health and Medicine
• HIV/AIDS Education and Outreach
• Tree Planting and Environmental Education
• Women’s Empowerment
• Cultural Tourism
Program Duration: 2 week minimum time commitment
