Shipping Supervisor
Reporting to the Site Manager, the ideal candidate would be a warehousing professional with strong troubleshooting skills and frontline supervisory experience in an industrial facility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervising and leading a team of forklift operators and swampers within a unionized environment.
* Ensure accuracy of outbound orders.
* Inventory management.
* Maintaining and updating inventory database system.
* Working with a strong focus on safety, ensuring that work is done in compliance with policies and procedures.
Key Requirements:
* 3 or more year’s supervisory experience within a warehousing environment.
* A proven safety leader with knowledge of health and safety regulations would be a definite asset.
* Some post-secondary education preferred.
* Strong troubleshooting / problem-solving skills.
* Advanced computer skills including MS Excel and inventory databases.
* Strong safety attitude.
* Must be able to work both independently and within a group environment.
