Working with a dedicated project team, your responsibilities will include being a key contact for both external and internal stakeholders, development of communication channels, processes, tools and outcome targets, related to the palliative support role. In addition, you will be required to provide coordination and secretariat for the Project Advisory Group (PAG), to liaise with the PAG Chair and the Consortium Manager, make project recommendations to the PAG and to seek engagement from Aged Care Facilities in the planned progressive implementation of the new palliative support role.
Commencing in January 2012, the Project Coordinator position will be 30 hours/week for 16 weeks.
About you
You will have sound knowledge of project management, providing secretariat
support and high-level interpersonal skills. Computer competency is essential to produce professional and high quality documentation and presentations. A great communicator, you will have a high level of attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
An understanding of the Aged Care and Palliative Care sectors would be an advantage.
About the EMRPCC
The Eastern Metropolitan Region Palliative Care Consortium (EMRPCC) was formed by St Vincent’s Health, Eastern Health and Eastern Palliative Care in 2005. The EMRPCC also has representation from other health and palliative care stakeholders. The Consortium covers the 7 local government areas of the Eastern Metro Region.
