EAGI,
the largest granite factor in the region, is a new and exciting competitor to
the domestic and regional granite industry and is dedicated to producing the
most durable and authentic Granite and Marble products for local, regional and
international markets; EAGI is currently seeking to recruit experienced and
motivated candidates to fill the following positions:
I.
POSITION: SALES & MARKETING OFFICER
The
Marketing Officer oversees the com

pany’s marketing campaigns both internally
and externally and plays a key part in communicating the organizations
marketing message.

Duties
include:
  • Preparing, planning and project
    managing the publication of all publicity material to maximize brand
    promotion.
  • Creating marketing campaigns and
    working with the company’s external PR agency to see them executed.
  • Creating and developing new innovative
    ways to communicate the company message to their existing customers.
  • Contributing to the annual sales and
    marketing plan.
  • Planning and project managing
    marketing events and evaluating their success.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of all
    marketing activity.
  • Developing and implementing an
    internal marketing programme.
  • Supporting the marketing manager in
    day to day marketing activities.
  • Plan, develop and deliver campaigns
    as agreed within timescales.
Minimum
Qualifications and Experience
  • University degree in Marketing,
    Engineering or a relevant field.
  • Knowledge of principles and practices
    of sales.
  • Knowledge of customer service
    principles.
  • At Least three years Work experience
    in sales, where experience is in the construction industry will be an
    advantage.
  • Experience in making presentations.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales
    targets.
II.
POSITION: CUSTOMER RELATIONS OFFICER
The
customer relations officer is responsible for providing administrative and
clerical services in order to ensure effective and efficient operations,
Responsibilities
  • Providing help and advice to
    customers on our organizations products.
  • Communicating courteously with
    customers by telephone, email, letter and face to face;
  • Handling customer complaints or any
    major incidents.
  • Keeping accurate records of
    discussions or correspondence with customers;
  • Analyzing statistics or other data to
    determine the level of customer service of the organization..
  • Writing reports, analyzing statistics
    the customer service that your organisation provides;
  • Participate in departmental meetings
    and share on possible improvements of customer service.
  • Learning about the organization’s
    products or services and keeping up to date with changes.
  • Maintaining office files
Minimum
Qualifications and Experience
  • University degree in Management,
    social sciences or a relevant field.
  • Knowledge of customer service
    principles.
  • At Least three years work experience
III.
POSITION: CHIEF ACCOUNTANT
This
position reports to the finance manager
  • Timely prepare of monthly and annual
    financial statements.
  • Ensure that all accounting
    transactions comply with set financial systems and controls and initiate
    remedial action where this is not the case.
  • Prepare budgets in consultation with
    the Financial Manager, ensure budgetary controls are in place, monitor and
    report on variances.
  • Prepare and continually review the
    age analysis and the payment to sales turnover ratios and advise the
    management team on the credit worthiness of individual accounts.
  • Ensure the timely settlement of company
    liabilities, in line with the company’s set policies.
  • Compile tax reports/statutory ‘
    returns, ensuring that these are submitted in a timely manner to the
    relevant authorities and consult with tax advisors as and when necessary.
  • Liaise with the external auditors
    during interim and annual audit and follow-up recommendations of internal
    audit findings
  • Supervise a team of 4 staff.
Qualifications
and Experience
  • Bachelors Degree in a business
    related discipline
  • Should at least be pursuing
    professional qualification such as ACCA or CPA.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a
    Chief Accountant in a Medium size organisation
  • Experience in direct involvement of
    working with ERP systems
  • Excellent oral and written
    communication skills
  • Analytical, technical and logical
    approach to problem solving
  • Self motivated and quick to take
    initiative
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Commercial awareness
