The Opportunity

Ducks Unlimited Canada (DUC), a leader in Cana

dian habitat conservation, is
looking for a Client Services Coordinator to provide support to help grow DUC’s
capabilities to serve its clients who require wetland restoration services.

In this full-time, entry-level position, you will communicate directly with
clients, DUC Conservation Delivery staff and Government staff who manage
wetland conservation policies in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

Working within a strong team environment, you will also take on
responsibilities for managing clients, tracking client contracts, tracking
project budgets, generating project reports, follow-up with clients and
regulatory agencies as required.

You need to be an enthusiastic team player and passionate about the outdoors –
a self-starter who can work with anyone, and is capable of working under
minimal supervision.

You are business minded, resourceful and possess strong, organizational
and interpersonal skills and can manage numerous projects on tight
deadlines.

Your 3 to 5 years’ directly related experience and knowledge will make you the
ideal candidate for this position.

Requirements
• A post-secondary degree/diploma with emphasis on business development or
marketing is preferred. An environmental sciences, biology background or
experience is an asset.
• Excellent networking and client stewardship skills are essential.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Office programs
• Strong data management skills, experience in developing and managing
contracts
• Strong oral/written communication and presentation skills which can be
applied to advance DUC’s  mission.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Good time management skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects, set priorities, and meet rigid
deadlines.
• Knowledge of wetland and upland restoration, business principles and
bilingualism are considered assets.
• Valid Canadian driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• A personal commitment and passion for waterfowl and wetland conservation make
you the ideal candidate for this position.
