Digi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd Associate Principal – Strategic Procurement IS/IT Job Vacancy in Australia

innovation. These services are offered under the DiGi Prepaid brand name. Our
postpaid service under the DiGi Postpaid brand name delivers high quality voice
as well as value-added mobile content and data services to both individual and
corporate customers.

• The
  Associate Principal shall take the lead in strategic procurement
  activities in DiGi, these include market analysis, vendor analysis and the
  entire RFx process including short listing of vendors, negotiation through
  to closure of contract
• The
  candidate should be able to manage commodities from a procurement
  perspective including vital sourcing groups, strategic planning, key
  sourcing project participation and contribution together with award
  management.
• The
  candidate shall report on savings of existing contracts and on
  business-case level of new contracts, and on procurement project
  deliveries and achievable.
• Stakeholder
  budget monitoring against procurement activities with a view of maximizing
  value received for spend including improved quality of goods and service
  levels
• Manage
  stakeholders including presentation and alignment of procurement strategies
  for stakeholders buy-in and implementation including sourcing,
  benchmarking, procurement analysis, commercial and contract negotiations
  with business partners
• Monitor
  and track key suppliers’ performance
• Provide
  updates on market, suppliers and product trends to internal stakeholders
• Drive
  continuous efforts to improve procurement operations processes through
  automation, e- auction, streamlining of processes, turnaround time and
  lower the cost of procurement
• Ensure
  compliance to internal control standards in all sourcing activities
• Management
  of OPEX spends strategizing with operations division to plan and control
  renewals ironing out contract value issues whilst gaining better pricing
• Management
  of BAU spends under frame such as change requests, upgrades, renewals,
  variation orders.
• Ensuring
  delivery, implementation, operations and product lifespan viability are
  properly included by Stakeholders

• IT/Business/Engineering
  degree or equivalent
• 6-8
  years working experience across the value chain in Telecommunications
  industry
• 3-5
  years of Vendor Management related experience and vendor contracts
  management with a view to achieving value and avoiding leakage
• Strong
  procurement governance and strategic procurement knowledge and experience.
• Working
  knowledge of product, technical, operational and delivery engagements and
  environments, managed services would be an added advantage
• Good
  command of both written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Good
  in presentation skills both written & oral and be proficient in
  Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word software
• Analytical,
  good negotiation skill and strategic mindset
• Integrity,
  team player, pleasant personality and with a positive can-do working
  attitude
• Excellent
  interpersonal and communication skills
• Resourceful,
  result-oriented, reliable and able to work independently with minimum
  supervision
