Embedded Engineer (Wireless) Job in Ireland.
In partnership with its client Cpl NI Ltd is currently seeking an Embedded Engineer permanent job based in Shannon, Ireland.

Job Role:
The Successful candidate will help to innovate and develop embedded software subsystems for Architecture based leading-edge processors to drive the next generation of Wireless Communications Network equipment. The role will have interaction with Customers, Marketing, Research, Architecture and other R&D teams in a multi-geo environment. In addition there will be the opportunity to travel.

The role will be focused on projects spanning one or more of the following areas:
• Next Generation Wired and Wireless Network Infrastructure (Cloud RAN, Service Edge Cloud)
• Cellular Equipment (Base stations, Radio Network Controllers, Femtocells, Evolved Packet Core)
• Signal Processing (Mathworks, Algorithms, LTE, WCDMA, Medical, MAG, AVX, Intel Core Processor MicoArchitecture, Graphics and special purpose acceleration engines)

Skill Set and Experience Requirements:
• Degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or Computer Science
• Experience of working in an embedded or real-time programming environment.
• Very good knowledge of C programming, especially in developing multi-core or multithreaded software..
• Very good understanding of Linux based operating systems and how to optimize for performance.
• Good knowledge of processor technology and its application.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a multi-geo team.
• Good problem solving skills coupled with a strong aptitude to learn and innovate.
