Strategies for
Implementation
of Control of
Environmental Degradation
Van Hyckama (2005), the implementation of the national
environment policy depends on specific actions directed towards major sectors
and problem area of the environment.
Consequently, the approach to problem solving adopted
in this policy is predicted on an integrated, holistic and systemic view of
environmental issues. The actions envisaged will establish and/or strengthen
legal, institutional, regulatory research, monitoring, evaluation, public information
and other relevant mechanisms for ensuring the attainment of the specific goals
and targets of the policy.
