engineering consultancy are one of the first names that people associate with
the industry. Having worked on landmark projects throughout their history, they
have positively influenced the built environment with their vision and
engineering expertise.

The Role

Having the reputation that they do, they are consistently busy across all
groups. With transport infrastructure receiving heavy investment and large
volumes of work being awarded, this consultancy are winning more than their
fair share.  As a result, they require a number of Civil Drafters to
assist on a 3-6 month contract basis.

The Responsibilities

Reporting into the CAD Manager and Project Leaders, you will be responsible for
drafting all aspects of major transport projects.  You will predominantly
work on road and highway projects, although there will also be some cross-over
with rail projects. You will demonstrate knowledge of construction
documentation, in particular:

• Road
• Earthworks
• Pavement
• Drainage

The Requirements

This role will suit an experienced Civil Drafter who has previously worked on
RMS highway projects. The criteria for this role:

• A high
  proficiency in using AutoCAD
• Some
  exposure to RMS highways projects within an Australian design consultancy
  and preferably NSW
• A
  diploma in civil engineering would be seen as favourable
• Full
  working rights within Australia
• The ability
  to commence a contract role immediately
• Due to
  the immediate nature of this role, only applicants currently residing in
