Career Directions Ltd is looking for the staff to
fill the following positions:
1. Sales
Job Duties:
  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders,
    and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work
    schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade
    factors.
  • Adjusts content of sales presentations by
    studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
  • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and
    potential volume of dealers.
  • Submits orders by referring to price lists and
    product literature.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting
    activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work
    plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current
    marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery
    schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and
    policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating
    problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations
    to management.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge
    by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications;
    establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Provides historical records by maintaining
    records on area and customer sales.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing
    related results as needed.
Skills/Qualifications:
Diploma in business, Fluent in English and
Kinyarwanda, working knowledge of French, Customer Service, Meeting Sales
Goals, Closing Skills, Territory Management, Prospecting Skills, Negotiation,
Self-Confidence, Product Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Client Relationships, Motivation
for Sales.
2. Customer
Service Representative
Job Duties:
  • Attracts potential customers by answering
    product and service questions; suggesting information about other products
    and services.
  • Opens customer accounts by recording account
    information.
  • Maintains customer records by updating account
    information.
  • Resolves product or service problems by
    clarifying the customer’s complaint; determining the cause of the problem;
    selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem;
    expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
  • Maintains financial accounts by processing
    customer adjustments.
  • Recommends potential products or services to
    management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer
    needs.
  • Prepares product or service reports by
    collecting and analyzing customer information.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing
    related results as needed.
Skills/Qualifications:
Diploma in business, Degree an added advantage,
Fluent in English, Kinyarwanda and French, Customer Service, Product Knowledge,
Quality Focus, Problem Solving, Market Knowledge, Documentation Skills,
Listening, Phone Skills, Resolving Conflict, Analyzing Information,
Multi-tasking.
3. Sales
Manager
Sales Manager Job Duties:
  • Determines annual unit and gross-profit plans
    by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results.
  • Establishes sales objectives by forecasting
    and developing annual sales quotas; projecting expected sales volume and
    profit for existing and new products.
  • Implements company sales programs by
    developing field sales action plans.
  • Maintains sales volume, product mix, and
    selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends,
    economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Establishes and adjusts selling prices by
    monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
  • Completes company sales operational
    requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work
    results.
  • Maintains company sales staff by recruiting,
    selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Maintains company sales staff job results by
    counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and
    appraising job results.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge
    by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications;
    establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing
    related results as needed.
Skills/Qualifications:  
Degree in business or related field with minimum 2
years experience,Fluent in English and Kinyarwanda, working knowledge of
French, Meeting Sales Goals, Negotiation, Selling to Customer Needs, Motivation
for Sales, Sales Planning, Building Relationships, Coaching, Managing
Processes, Market Knowledge, Developing Budgets, Staffing
