Eligibility:
-We are looking for candidates holding a PhD in Physics, Engineering Physics,
Medical Physics, or in related fields. -Candidates must have solid knowledge on
Radiation Physics and solid knowledge in numerical modeling. -preference will
be given to candidates with proficiency in Monte Carlo methods in radiation
transport, knowledge and practice on the MCNPx and/or GEANT codes, and previous
experience on the simulation of dose distribution due to radiation from linear
accelerators, in external RT.

does it cover? 1.495,00 €. The grant holder can
receive additional payments by participating in complementary contracts or
projects that contribute to the work plan (Clauses 12 and 13 of INESC Porto
Grants Regulation and Annex II), in accordance with paragraph 4 of article 5 of
Research Grant Holder Statute, approved by Law nº 40/2004, dated 18 August, up
to a maximum of 50% of the monthly grant.
