role

As
a Mathematics Teacher within our Secondary School, you will be provided with
the opportunity to teach VCE Specialist Maths and Maths Methods. In addition to
this, there is also the potential to take on the role of Head of Mathematics
Faculty.

full time, ongoing position commences in January 2018 and will suit a candidate
who is able to demonstrate:

- Expertise
in VCE Specialist Maths. - An
innovative and engaging approach to teaching VCE Mathematics – Specialist
and Methods across Years 11 & 12. - A
detailed understanding of principles and practices of student learning
strategies and the ways in which boys learn. - Experience
in differentiating curriculum and measuring effectiveness. - The
ability to demonstrate effective classroom management skills and the
ability to communicate effectively to a range of audiences. - A
commitment to collaborating with colleagues in planning, implementing and
reviewing curriculum. - Proven
experience in establishing and fostering relationships with students,
staff and parents. - A
willingness to be actively involved in the cultural, pastoral and
co-curricular activities of the School.
