GENERAL
MANAGER – CUSTOMER CARE
Reporting to the
Managing Direct
or, the incumbent will provide professional customer care inputs
to the creation and maintenance of all BTCL strategy that will create and
deliver shareholder value. Furthermore the incumbent will direct customer
activities within an agreed framework, meeting targets for return on investment,
profitability and customer satisfaction, and lead a team of senior managers
under the Contact Center, Intergrated Channel, Post Sales and Billing and
Collections in creating a successful business which meets investors
requirements for profitability. The incumbent will be expected to use relevant
metrics and measures to routinely monitor progress against target and
appropriate managerial action to ensure targets are met or exceeded in all BTCL
touchpoints, business fulfilment and assurance. Maintain effective working
relationships with Government, Suppliers, Regulatory and International
Authorities ensuring that BTCL position is well represented and fully
understood. The successful candidate will also contribute to the operational
management as part of the Executive Committee.

Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess Degree in Business Administration, or
equivalent with ten (10) years professional experience with three (3) years of
relevant experience in managing a successful Customer Service Division in an
emerging market. Masters Degree and Membership of a relevant Professional
Association will be an added advantage.
