This large global, and well known mid-tier firm, is experiencing substantial growth both nationally and locally. As a result this organization is currently seeking to appoint a dynamic individual as an associate Partner, to help establish a strong local footprint for their national risk practice.
On offer is an established client book with considerable opportunity for growth, extensive support from interstate partners as well as all necessary resources (staffing, marketing, lead partner assistance).
As a priority appointment for the firm, it is important that you have strong working relationships in your local market, are well versed in operational risk management, IT risk and/ or internal audit. In order to be considered for this role, and to ensure your ongoing success, you will be able to demonstrate the management of a client portfolio far exceeding $1 million dollars in annual revenue, experience with complex technical engagements for clientele in the government, finance and/or resources sector.
Upon starting your new role, you will be required to liaise with senior management to establish key performance indicators for you and your team and map out a business plan covering operational and strategic targets and objectives. Once established in this role, you will proactively grow your division through marketing / business development always seeking out new markets and opportunities. In addition you will also be required to address the following key skills and attributes:
Ability to quickly establish new business and revenue streams with an ultimate goal of reaching over $2 million annual revenue within the first 3 years
Possess extensive industry networks.
High level technical expert in either IT, Internal audit / Risk
High level of business development acumen, and experience tendering large contracts.
Well developed business development and marketing experience, with proven high level local networks.
Divisional management experience (operational and strategic management)
Willingness to do the technical work is essential
Experience in an advisory or consulting practice is essential.
