1.1.Job Summary
Responsible for the effective mechanical installation
and maintenance of plant machinery equipment during scheduled maintenance and
breakdowns.
1.2.Qualification and Experience
•Should possess an appropriate National Crafts
Certificate in Maintenance Fitting or in Fitting Machinist.
•A minimum of 5 years post apprenticeship in plant
maintenance.
1.3.Skills
•Good knowledge of trade related theory
•Ability to use all trade related tools and
equipment
•Knowledge of rotary machines (pumps, fans,
gearboxes,etc)
•Good problem solving skills
•Good communication skills
•Ability to weld and develop metal shapes and
hoppers etc.
Candidates who are multi-skills, have valid
driver’s licenses and own transport and have experience in the food industry
have an added advantage.
