clinical team.

At
Bt David Clinic, nurses work in collaboration with medical doctors, lab
technicians and other team members to serve clients. Typical terms of reference
(ToRs) for a nurse include:

- Receiving,
and taking and recording vital signs for clients - Assisting
in medical consultation - Working
in minor surgery department - Working
in nursing care department - Assisting
a medical doctor on duty - Keeping
space, and used materials and equipment tidy - Undertaking
any other tasks assigned to them by their supervisor (s)
Work
shifts include: night and day time. A nurse reports directly to the clinical
team director.

Qualifications

- Degree:
A2 (certificate) or A1 (diploma) in general nursing - Work
experience: at least 3 years working in a clinical setting (health centre,
dispensary, hospital, etc) - Practicing
in Rwanda: have a valid practice licence issued by National Council of
Nurses and Midwives (NCNM) Rwanda - Ability
to work independently in services such as minor surgery and nursing care - Be
a team player and self-driven
