Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reporting
    to the Dealer Principal the incumbent will be required to:
  • Manage
    the service department as per the Barloworld Motor and manufacturer
    requirements
  • Control
    varied activities at an optimal pace to achieve required targets
  • Ensure
    service CSI targets are met
  • Arrange
    and monitor work flow and capacity in the department on a daily basis
  • Manage
    the frontline and administrative staff, ensuring all functions operate at
    optimum levels
  • Ensure
    good relationships with the manufacturer, customers, new vehicle sales and
    parts department
  • Implement
    and maintain value adding processes in the service department.
  • Motivate,
    inspire and involve departmental staff.

MINIMUM
REQUIREMENTS

  • BGCSE/O
    level and relevant tertiary education
  • Computer
    literacy (Microsoft and diagnostics)
  • Proven
    track record in the Audi, VW, Volvo, Ford and or Mazda automotive service
    environment (at least 3 years’ experience in the field)
  • Drivers
    licence
