Job Title: ARTISANS (ELECTRICAL) – 3 POSTS
Terms of Contract: Contract for an Unspecified Period of Time
Location: Head Office – Facilities Management Department.

Reports to: Head of Division.

Job purpose:
To undertake electrical installation, maintenance and rehabilitation of electrical networks.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
a) Diagnosing and repairing faults on electrical equipment and systems ;
b) Installing joint and terminating low, medium and high voltage cables and conductors ;
c) Performing preventive maintenance and upgrading of electrical equipment;
d) Inspecting electrical systems, equipment and components to ensure they are in good operating conditions;
e) Repairing and maintaining electrical motors, generators, transformers and HVAC systems;
f) Ensuring high standard of housekeeping ;
g) Assisting in performing emergence repair,
h) Performing other related duties as may be assigned by the head of division.

Essential Requirements:
• Trade test certificate grade III in Electrical Installation;
• Two (2) years of post qualification relevant work experience;
• Computer literacy;
• Customer service skills;
• Good team player;
• Ability to work well under minimum supervision;
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
