are seeking a well-rounded workplace relations practitioner to join our
high-performing national workpl

ace relations team in Adelaide.

This
role will provide you with a fabulous opportunity to assist businesses through
your professional advice and advocacy across a wide variety of industrial and
employment law matters, including termination of employment,  general
protections, equal employment opportunity, Award and Fair Work Act compliance;
performance management; dispute resolution, enterprise bargaining (including
drafting and negotiating enterprise agreements), workers’ compensation claims
and issues, workplace health and safety (WHS) incidents / issues, HR policies
and employment contracts. This advice may combine where appropriate a variety
of HR, IR and legal solutions. Your high degree of client interaction will
range from SME’s to some of Australia’s largest businesses, providing plenty of
scope to apply your skills and knowledge across a broad range of organisational
contexts.  
To
be successful, you will have be admitted to legal practice and have at least 6
years workplace relations, employment, or WHS (or related) experience gained
from a well-regarded law firm, employer organisation or in an in-house IR / HR
role.
Your
technical skills will be well honed and your approach will be pragmatic. You
will enjoy working with employers “at the coal face” and taking a
practical approach to resolving complicated and sensitive workplace issues. You
will know how to build sound working relationships across all levels and be
committed to excellence in client service.  Ideally, you also have a flair
for developing and delivering seminars and training programs.
