Company is currently seeking to recruit suitably qualified and experienced

Job
Summary

Maintaining, inspecting and repairing the fleet of cranes (Mobile, Crawler
Cranes, Telescopic Cranes, Telehandlers, Telescopic Work Platforms etc.),
trucks and equipment, in order to ensure a high standa

rd of maintenance is
achieved at all times.

Requirements
Main
Responsibilities
  • Executing
    preventative and periodic repairs, inspections, maintenance and servicing
    on all cranes, trailers, trucks and other equipment on location or in
    workshop site, by using amongst others diagnostic devices and tests. This
    must be done in accordance with the manufacturers specifications and
    operating procedures
  • Assembling
    and dissembling of parts.
  • Performing
    of operational checks after repairs/maintenance.
  • Daily
    reports of executed work and foreseen major repairs and repetitive
    problems, according to company and client standards and instructions.
  • Reporting
    failures and errors and deviations. Reporting of foreseen major repairs
    and repetitive problems
  • Adhering
    to legislation and instructions/training as well as regulations with
    regard to safety.
  • Pointing
    out risks with regard to safety, the environment or health, reporting
    these risks to the QESH Manager and taking or having corrective /
    preventive measures taken.
  • Keep
    stock control of technicians tools and equipment.
  • Execution
    of all activities according to the processes described in the QESH
    Management System
Qualifications,
Experience and Attributes
  • Recognized
    technical qualification in mechanics through an accredited and accepted
    institution and demonstrable equivalent by experience on cranes and
    lifting equipment related to specific experience of this equipment
    relating to the manufacturers specifications
  • Industry
    related Safety Certificate specifically for the lifting industry.
  • 5
    – 8 years relevant and proven experience. Other training related to the
    proper fulfilling of the role and/or the performance within the project
  • The
    successful applicant will only be appointed after an independent and
    accredited crane certification body finds that the candidate meets these
    requirements, and this is in the company’s sole discretion.

contracting in structural steel, mechanical, plate work, and piping, The
Company has been awarded a contract for the Structural, Mechanical, Piping and
Plate Work (SMPP) for the Letlhakane Mine Tailings Resource Treatment Plant.
