Minkara Aged Care Facility 

About the
role:

The Assistant in Nursing will be required
to assist the Director of Nursing in the provision of quality care services to
residents in a professional efficient manner and empathetic attitude to
the needs of residents.

You will ensure
resident’s safety, secu
rity, dignity, privacy and well-being at all times,
actively contribute to the promotion of best practice in OH &S and
continuous quality improvement, and promote the culture and philosophies of
Aveo Retirement Living.

To be
successful in this role you will have:

• Minimum
  certificate 3 in Aged/Community Care required
• Minimum 3
  years’ experience in Aged Care
• Availability
  to work a minimum of 24 hours per week
• Police
  Check clearance
• Commitment
  to caring for the elderly
• Well
  developed interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrated
  ability to work alone
• Demonstrated
  ability to work as part of a team
• Demonstrated
  ability to work within OH&S and a continuous improvement environment
• Excellent
  organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritise
• Good
  oral and written communication skills
• Ability
  to work within a multi-tasking, multi-skilled work environment
