The vacancy

Having
experienced very strong growth in the last two quarters, this business seeks
the services of an additional Senior Structural Engineer. Entering at an senior
level, the incumbent will contribute to key structural design projects in the
commercial and industrial sectors.

Day to day
responsibilities
As
a Senior Structural Engineer you will be responsible for delivering the design,
documentation and project management of major landmark projects. You will
attend initial client visits, resource and coordinate your own team of
engineers and drafters, ensure project budgets and deadlines are met, carry our
scheme design and design development, coordinate documentation and ensure that
client requirements are exceeded. You will use your extensive industry
experience to mitigate project risks before they arise.

Requirements
  • 7+
    years’ experience in the market
  • Chartership,
    or eligibility to work towards
  • Demonstrated
    experience managing the design commercial and industrial buildings.
  • Previous
    experience designing steel and concrete structures
  • Post
    tension design experience is also critical
