An internationally renowned company specialising in the design and build of waste processing plants, materials recycling facilities, EfW plants etc; is currently seeking a UK Project Engineer as a result of continued growth.
This is a really broad and interesting role that involves project managing the coordination and completion of projects. This includes installation supervision, project commissioning customer training, preventive maintenance programs, upgrades and equipment audits. Excellent organisation and communication skills are required as the role involves direct communication with the customers, project engineers, vendors and contractors concerning project cost, staffing, and scheduling. Simultaneously, the role holder will oversee all aspects of projects, set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarizes progress of projects.
The ideal candidate would be able to work unsupervised at customer sites throughout the UK and Europe. Experience of the waste management sector is desirable with previous experience of working with/on MRF equipment and/or associated equipment a distinct advantage. Understanding of Mechanical and Electrical Installation practices is essential along with working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. A clean drivers licence is also essential as the role requires national travel.
