Project Background:
The Water and Sanitation Development Facility (WSDF) is a funding mechanism of the Ministry of Water and Environment for water and sanitation investments at community level. The activities implemented under the Water-and Sanitation Development Facility Programme include water supply infrastructure development (new investment, rehabilitation, and major extensions), a comprehensive software and sanitation promotion programme in small towns and rural growth centres.
Administrator (1 vacancy)
• Reports to: Regional Branch Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Handle public relation matters for the WSDF Branch
• Maintain and update asset registers and asset maintenance in accordance with GoU laws and regulations
• Administration of vehicles and asset use
• Collaborate with the Head Human Resources in the Ministry to handle personnel matters including identifying capacity needs and recommending relevant training.
• Ensure that the Facility Branch complies with all Government Statutory regulations.
• Organizing staff meetings
• Assist in preparation of presentations and reports using MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Maintaining office equipment, making travel arrangements, monitoring stationery.
• Carry-out any other duties assigned by the Regional Branch Manager.
Job requirement
Minimum Qualifications:
• Should have a Bachelors Degree in Administration, Social-Sciences or a related field from a recognized University/Institution.
• Possession of a relevant post graduate qualification is must.
Experience and competences:
• At least three years experience in a related field.
• Demonstrated skill in MS packages.
• Ability to work as part of a team, take initiative and excellent command of English in written and verbal communications.
