The Visiting Nursing Service (VNS) provide nursing services to home based clients by assessing the nursing care requirements of an individual and completing individualised care plans to promote optimal health care
outcomes. The visiting Nurses are an active link, between community health providers and the hospital and community services. This position is alert to each client’s unique characteristics and specific support needs and is respectful of their rights and privacy. This is essential in ensuring that the service remains supportive in its nurturing role to maintain and care for the health of individuals in the local community.
This role leads the VNS team at Robinvale District Health Services (RDHS) in providing support and direction and as such develops and maintains accurate records for all Visiting Nursing clients.
Additionally client outcomes are planned that demonstrate measureable outcomes in line with HACC and DVA contract requirements and guidelines for the provision of Community Nursing Services.
This role is a Registered Nurse (Division 1) position to work flexible hours/shift up to 1.0 EFT. The role is primarily working Monday to Friday business hours.
