Evolv is an innovative and independent self managed superannuation fund audit
provider. Our technology based audit approach redefines the way super audits
have been traditionally performed, allowing our auditors to focus on the
important issues. Due to recent company growth an opportunity has arisen for an
experienced Senior Auditor to join our firm. This exciting role offers the
possibility of promotion to Assistant Manager to the right candidate.
Working closely with the Head of Superannuation, this rewarding role will
require you to review the work of other team members to ensure our portfolio of
diverse and interesting self-managed superannuation fund audits are completed
accurately and to the highest quality. In addition, you will be required to
identify and assist with resolving technical audit issues, provide mentoring
and on the job training to a small team, perform fund audits as required, and
assist in developing new and maintaining existing policies, processes and
procedures.
To be successful in this role you will possess the following:
• Tertiary qualifications in accounting and completed or working toward
CA/CPA/IPA/SPAA qualifications
• Relevant experience working in the SMSF industry is essential, preferably
conducting SMSF audits
• Experience in staff supervision
• Strong understanding of relevant sections of SIS Act and Australian
Self-Managed Superannuation Fund legislation and the ability to apply that
knowledge
• High attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage time and
prioritise work.
• Advanced IT skills
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
