The South Australian Ombudsman is an independent officer who has comprehensive
power to investigate complaints about South Australian government and local
government agencies, conduct freedom of information re

monitor the implementation of the Information Sharing Guidelines.
About the Role
The Ombudsman SA is seeking a Deputy Ombudsman who will be responsible for the
overall management and development of the staff and Office. The successful
applicant for this role will have impeccable integrity and have proven ability
in leading change and business process improvement. They will be a strategic
thinker and have high level of analytical and communication skills.
The
role is accountable to the Ombudsman SA and will assist him in his statutory
obligations under the Ombudsman Act 1972.

- Overall management and development of
staff. - Under delegation, undertake complex
investigations, audits, reports and reviews. - Assist the Ombudsman in the discharge
of his various functions under several statutes.
