You
You
must have a genuine love for food & be looking to take on full management
of a small team & the kitchen.  The successful candidate will have the
opportunity to work alongside the owner in creating seasonal menus that combine
traditional Indian food with modern Australian produce & you will be given
opportunity to bring your ideas to table. 
We
are based in Melbourne’s CBD serving fresh home-style Indian with a twist. This
is a unique opportunity to join a progressive and expanding business. 
To
be a successful candidate you must have:
  • Excellent
    communication & organisational skills
  • Experience
    & the ability to manage kitchen staff in a fast-paced, time-critical
    environment, including rostering of all staff & ability to build a
    team
  • An
    ethos of quality & consistency of food
  • Good
    knowledge of Indian traditional food with an ability to be innovative and
    creative
  • Manage
    the kitchen including monitoring, ordering & rotation of stock,
    daily/weekly specials, ensure that waste is minimalized and follow food
    safety & OHS requirements
  • Willingness
    to learn & develop 
Free
your night and weekend, day shift from Monday to Friday
You
will need to be an Australian citizen or permanent resident to be
considered.
