are a boutique commercial law firm of 6 Partners and 30 staff doing large scale
sophisticated work for serious high end clients.  Our Property team
advises on some of Australia’s highest profile buildings and projects.
Subsequently,
our highly skilled team of Senior Law Clerks need assistance.
This
is a fantastic opportunity for a smart, mo

tivated and career oriented person
who has approximately 12-18 months conveyancing administration experience to
join our team and learn from senior law clerks.

Ideally,
you will have worked within a law firm or conveyancing company and work at your
best when in a busy and challenging environment.
Duties
are varied and will include:
  • Preparing
    engagement (cost) agreements
  • General
    typing and editing of correspondence and contracts
  • Printing
    and collating contracts of sale
  • Conducting
    searches and applying for rate and planning certificates using SAI Global
  • Drafting
    initial letters to complete exchanges, both purchaser and vendor
  • Updating
    spreadsheets utilising Excel
  • Preparing
    residential contracts of sale
  • Arranging
    settlements
  • Mail
    merging
  • Accounts
    duties such as receipting deposits and investing deposits, and organising
    cheque requisitions
  • Following
    up outstanding deposits and FIRB (Financial Investment Review Board)
    approval
  • Preparing
    bills (including collating and preparing cover letters)
To
be selected and successful for this role you must be well presented and spoken,
have a “nothing is too much trouble” attitude, be reliable, a team
player and have an ‘eye for detail’.
