Our Woothoo-woothoong thoon ninggoowoong Dawang Children’s Service, which is
located in Kununurra, has a vacant position of Room Leader & Early
Childhood Teacher. This position is full time and offers benefits such as
competitive salary, 6 weeks of leave per year, housing allowance, relocation
allowance, child care subsidy, etc. Successful applicants must have a genuine
love for & interest in children, positive can do attitude, valid WA Working
with Children Card and the ability to obtain a Medical certificate;
Position requirements:
- To
design, implement and evaluate programs for children, which meet the
Centre Philosophy and Policies, Government Regulations and Quality
Assurance Principles. - To ensure
the environment in which children learn and play is clean, hygienic and
safe; - To
communicate effectively with children, families and the wider community. - To work
as an effective team member. - To
follow Centre Policy and Government Legislation in providing a safe and
hygienic environment for children and staff. - To
participate in the Operational Management of the service where required
applicant will possess:
- Minimum
of Diploma in Children’s Services or Bachelor of Education, (Primary or
Early Childhood) as recognised by the Education and Care Services National
Regulations 2012. - Demonstrated
experience in a similar role. - Solid
understanding of Early Years Learning Framework. - Have
strong communication skills with parents, staff and community
organisations. - Valid
Working with Children check. - Medical
certificate.
