Farm Concern International (FCI) Videographer Job Vacancy in Kigali, Rwanda

VIDEOGRAPHER NEEDED
Farm Concern International (FCI) is an Africa-wide Market Development Agency, developing pro-poor marketing models and strategic alliances to enhance economic growth among poor communities in various countries in Sub-Saharan Africa. Farm Concern International’s regional office for Sub-Saharan Africa is based in Nairobi, Kenya. Applications are invited from qualified candidates to fill the following position, based in Rwanda.


PROFILE OF THE POSITION
The main responsibility will be video production to convey the essence of Farm Concern International to both worldwide partners and farming communities in various locations as well as the public.

The main duties will include production of Agro documentaries which includes but not limited to various farming aspects of different kinds of produce ranging from horticulture and staple foods to livestock and fisheries; Community Activities and events documentaries; Participation in agricultural trade shows, meetings, seminars, trainings and conferences which involves interaction with Farm Concern International partners, donors and representatives; compiling videos that communicate powerful stories about the impact of Farm Concern International to the communities.

Candidates should have ability to work to a brief to capture specific events; create an engaging/coherent narrative; communicate with contributors in order to get relevant interviews; use sound equipment accurately and professionally; organise, direct and film the shoot (handheld or with tripod) and competency in processing and editing footage. One should also be able to work proactively and independently; work in teams, often under tight timescales and willingness to be flexible, committed, self driven and energetic
