Catholic Relief Services (CRS) Human Resources Manager Job Vacancy in Kigali, Rwanda

CRS/Rwanda is searching for a
qualified individual in human resources management, including experience with
employee relationships, policy development, and talent and performance
management to fill the position of Human Resources Manager. CRS is an equal opportunity

At CRS/Rwanda, the Human Resources
Manager supports the Country Program to strategically recruit and retain
skilled candidates, plays a key role in the orientation and induction of new
employees, and coordinates the performance management process in conjunction
with all employees and their supervisors. The incumbent also ensures
personnel administration and addressing of employee requests.

This position is considered part of
the senior staff team and offers competitive working conditions. The
successful candidate will at minimum have the following
Qualifications and Skills : 
  • Preferably
    a Master Degree in HR Management, Business/Public Administration,
    Management, or Law
  • Significant
    background of at least for 5 years in Human Resources management
  • Mastering
    labor law and working context in Rwanda
  • Good
    leadership and planning skills
  • Honest
    and respectful interpersonal communications skills
  • Proficiency
    in written and verbal skills in Kinyarwanda, French, and English ;
    good reporting skills
  • Proficiency
    in HRMIS and computer literacy, especially Word, Excel, Access, and
    Power Point.
  • Experience
    reinforcing staff capacities through professional development planning
  • Must
    be able to deal with various requirements under strict deadlines and
    have ability to work under pressure
  • Must
    be detail oriented but also able to analyze problems, provide systematic
    solutions in line with established procedures/policies, and maintain a
    view of the larger picture
  • Self-awareness,
    self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills
  • Demonstrates
    honesty and discretion in behavior and inspires trust and confidence
