Scholarship can be taken at: Sweden
Eligibility:-The qualifications for education on a doctoral
level are: degree in advanced level, at least 240 university points, of which
60 are on an advanced level, or in another way acquired similar knowledge.
-Applicants must also meet the specific entry requirements.
-The applicant must have 1) MA in the area of social sciences, preferably in
sociology, work science or industrial relations. Master or bachelor thesis in
the field of work science, Excellent knowledge in written and spoken English.
-(Knowledge in Polish, Swedish and Flemish is desirable but not necessary.
-Applicant must be prepared to partake of, language training in the language
Swedish)
-At the time of appointment, the researcher may not have resided or carried out
his/her main activity in Sweden for more than 12 months in the 3 years
immediately prior to his/her appointment.
-Short stays such as holidays are not taken into account.

Description
: The PhD education position is part of
the Marie Curie Initial Training Network (ITN) within the EU Seventh Framework
Program (FP7). The University of Gothenburg is one of nine full partners in the
project “Changing Employment”. The overall objectives of
the Marie Curie project are to identify the nature of the restructuring of
European labour markets and economies as a result of current economic and
social change, and to explore the impact on work relations and working lives,
recognising that this will have implications for gender, ethnicity and young
and older people at work.

Grant is offered for 36-48 months.

Curie Programs and Initial Training Network.
