Scholarship Description: The Department of Chemical Engineering in collaboration with
CSIRO (Earth Science and Resource Engineering Division) is looking for a
suitable PhD student to join them in a project which focuses on the development
of catalyst for higher alcohols synthesis from natural gas. Oil is
currently the feedstock of choice for most of the transport fuel and chemical
production. However, with the increase in demand comes a need to look at
alternatives feedstock’s, such as natural gas, coal, and biomass, for transport
fuel and chemical production.
