Building a Better World
Scope of Work – Video Production for USAID/Higa Ubeho Program
Background
The USAID/Higa Ubeho
Program is a five-year USAID/PEPFAR-funded program whose goal is to increase
the use of health and related social support services among the most
vulnerable, including people living with HIV and AIDS (PLHA), orphans and other
vulnerable children (OVC) and their families to mitigate the impact and reduce
the risk of HIV and other health threats.
The program has recently completed an assessment to evaluate the progress of
1000 households against a wide range of indicators. This assessment
enabled the program to note a reduction in household vulnerability as a result
of CHF’s model for economic strengthening.
CHF International is seeking an experienced video consultant for the
production of a short video project in Rwanda. The production could be in the
form of short news features, mini documentary film and/or educational video.
The video is expected to be used in workshops and meetings (within and outside
Rwanda) to educate key stakeholders on the program interventions and their
impact.
The format and style of the video will be discussed and agreed upon with USAID
Higa Ubeho team – the goal is to put a human face to the program achievements
while also providing information about the type of services and support that
are making a difference in people’s lives.
