Project Officer
FAITH VICTORY
ASSOCIATION (FVA) is a Religious-Based Organization established in 2003 and
would like to recruit a Project Officer for FUNDING LEADERSHIP AND
OPPORTUNITIES FOR WOMEN (FLO W PROJECT) women’s rights for sustainable
livelihoods project being implemented in NYANZA DISTRICT.
THE OVERALL
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The overall purpose
is to support collective organization and political engagement of women farmers
for reducing the drudgery of unpaid care work and improving food and nutrition
security program in Nyanza District.
EDUCATIONAL
QUALIFICATIONS AND EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE:
Applicants must
possess:
- Rwandan
Nationality with Bachelors Degree in Social Sciences, rural development,
Education and other related domains and at least 3 years of experience in
Gender and Community development preferably in women’s rights and
sustainable Agriculture, - Experience
in financial resource management and procurement is an added advantage, - Experience
in project planning, implementation and monitoring, - Experience
in writing progress and annual reports in English as well as Spoken
Kinyarwanda, - Fluent
in English and French, both Speaking and writing, - Skills
in the use of internet, Microsoft office word, Excel, Power Point…, - Good
Interpersonal and Communication skills, - Good
experience in working with international agencies, - Ready
to start immediately.

Accountant/clerk
FAITH VICTORY
ASSOCIATION (FVA) is a Religious-Based Organization established in 2003 in
Rwanda and would like to recruit an experienced and qualified Candidate on
the-post of Accountant/clerk.
- To
carry out the entire work of assisting Finance/Accounting Department of
the organization with sound professionalism. - To
maintain a sound standard of accounting work in FVA and support in the
Budget execution. - To
support in preparation and submission of financial reports and Budgets to
the management and partners on time.
Requirements:
- Having
two years of University (A1) in accounting, or Finance with emphasis on
accounting. - Must be
a perfectionist by nature, with no tolerance for financial sloppiness. - Must be
experienced in dealing with financial and numeric data, - Must be
highly skilled in use of Excel Spreadsheets, MS Word and must be a very
good writer in order to handle the occasional administrative needs of the
department. - Must
have excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours
necessary to get the job
