Purpose
of the job
The
Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the entire warehouse operations such
as receiving, storing and dispatching of materials to both internal and
external customers.
Key
Responsibilities
The
jobholder will be responsible for performing the following duties:
  • Responsible
    for receiving incoming goods
  • Responsible
    for internal goods transfer including supplying material to production
    centers and sales
  • Monitor
    stock levels and timely inform the line manager about stock shortages or
    concerns (incoming vitamins, raw materials, finished goods etc.)
  • Ensure
    stock is picked correctly in accordance with customer specifications
  • Check
    and reconcile documents relating to receiving of materials and delivering
    to clients
  • Calculate
    the required quantity and inventory level per product based on proposed
    demand plan and supply strategy for a specific time period
  • Maintain
    supply and inventory in the SAP, ERP system
  • Generate
    and present the supply & inventory plans in the Sales and Operation
    Planning meeting
  • Monitor
    implementation of the agreed supply and inventory plans
  • Define
    and take corrective actions where needed or when targets are re-adjusted
    through RCA
  • Ensure
    that capacity availability is updated and utilized efficiently
  • Identify,
    rank and recommend alternative supply & inventory plans based on
    financial and strategic assumptions
  • Report
    on progress to Warehouse & Inventory Manager
  • Implement
    warehouse and inventory strategy
  • To
    create and suggest team development plan
  • To
    manage overall measurement of the warehouse & inventory management
  • File
    all documentation
Knowledge
and educational level
Educational
level:
  • Bachelor’s
    Degree in business, management, finance or any relevant field
Required
level of experience
  • Minimum
    of 3 years of relevant or related experience
  • Financial
    systems
  • Proven
    experience in Warehouse and inventory management
  • Good
    command of SAP, ERP system or any other related information system
  • Excellent
    Excel skills
