TEACHING POSITION
is looking for a Nurse
Instructor who has completed at least a Bachelor of Science in
Nursing(BsN) and a Master Degree in Nursing (MsN) is proficient in
nursing theory and has experience in pediatrics or medical-Surgery

and teach person center care in classroom and clinical units to nursing
students. Includes both teachers primarily engaged in teaching and those who do
a combination of both teaching and research.
Initiate,
facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions.
2) Prepare and deliver lectures
to undergraduate and/or graduate students on nursing and cognates.
Keep
abreast of developments in their field by reading current literature, talking
with colleagues, and participating in professional conferences.
Prepare
course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts anchored
in evidence –based teaching.
Supervise
students’ laboratory and clinical work in clinical settings across country
Provide
transparent grading of students’ class work, laboratory and clinic work,
assignments, and papers.
Collaborate
with colleagues to address teaching and research issues.
8) Plan, evaluate, and revise
curricula, course content, and course materials and methods of instruction in
line with evidence-based nursing practice
Compile,
administer, and grade examinations, or assign this work to others.
10) Advise students on academic
and vocational curricula, and on career issues.
Maintain
and provide student attendance records, grades, and other required records.
12) Maintain regularly scheduled
office hours in order to advise and assist students.
13) Supervise undergraduate
and/or graduate teaching, internship, and research work.
Conduct
research in a particular field of knowledge, and publish findings in
professional journals, books, and/or electronic media.
15) Participate in student
recruitment, registration, and placement activities.
16) Coordinate training programs
with area universities, clinics, hospitals, health agencies, and/or vocational
schools.
17) Compile bibliographies of
specialized materials for outside reading assignments.
18) Select and request materials
and supplies such as textbooks and laboratory equipment.
19) Participate in campus and
community events.
20) Write grant proposals to
procure external research funding.
21) Act as advisers to student
organizations.
22) Demonstrate patient care in
clinical units of hospitals.
23) Perform administrative duties
such as requested
Provide
professional consulting services to government and/or industry.
