15 AIAS-COFUND (Marie Curie) Fellowships for International Researchers

Aarhus Institute of
Advanced Studies (AIAS) announces up to 12 to 15 AIAS-COFUND Fellowships for
talented researchers in the fourth round of applications. Incoming fellowships
are open for non-residents of Denmark and Reintegration fellowships are open
for European researchers returning to Denmark from a country outside the
European Union.

The goal of the AIAS-COFUND fellowship is to generate excellence
in research by attracting the most talented researchers worldwide and across
all research disciplines. Fellows can choose their research topic freely within
all academic disciplines. In this call 12-15 fellowships are available.

The mission of the Aarhus Institute of Advanced Studies is to
advance highest quality research at Aarhus University by attracting talented,
highly qualified fellows worldwide and within all disciplines. An AIAS
Fellowship offers excellent researchers a unique opportunity and the freedom to
pursue their own scientific research in an inspiring international
multidisciplinary environment.

Scholarship
Award: A fellowship includes funds for travel,
research expenses and a competitive salary. Two types of AIAS-COFUND
Fellowships:

AIAS-COFUND
Junior Fellowships (a duration of 12 to 36 months): postdoctoral research
careers of 2-10 years.
AIAS-COFUND
Senior Fellowships: (a duration of 6 to 18 months): postdoctoral
research careers of +10 years.

Eligibility
for the Scholarship:

Eligible
Countries: Incoming fellowships are open for
non-residents of Denmark and Reintegration fellowships are open for
European researchers returning to Denmark from a country outside the
European Union.
Entrance
Requirements: The target group of the
programme is talented researchers with a PhD and a minimum of two years of
fulltime postdoctoral research experience at the time of the application
deadline. Applicants must comply with the following mobility demand:

Applicants
must not have resided or carried out their main activities (work etc.)
for more than 12 months in Denmark in the 3 years immediately prior to
the call deadline. Time spent as part of a procedure for obtaining
refugee status under the Geneva Convention, compulsory national service
and/or short stays such as holidays are not taken into account.

English
Language Requirements: Applicants from outside
the home country will often need to meet specific English language/other
language requirements in order to be able to study there.
