Recommendations

Health care professional should be well-trained and
should be provided with necessary equipment for the proper keeping of quality
health records.

i.
There should be improved method of health
records keeping in the hospital to enhance free flow of communication between
patient and the health care provider. This will increase patient participation
in their care as well as improve accuracy of diagnosis.

ii.
There should be a good (team work approach)
among the health care professionals.

iii.
There is need to recommend standardizing the
health records keeping process by making sure it affects all the hospital.

iv.
This study recommends that there is need for
further study to develop questionnaires for the patient to determine their
view.

v.
There should be an awareness campaign and
sensitization of the benefits of quality health records keeping in order to increase
the overall attitude of the health care professionals.
