Key responsibilities
Line management responsibility for a team of 4 commercial IT business analysts in Europe, and additional project resources
Understand and anticipate strategic, market and operational needs, and translate those needs into effective business processes and technical solutions.
Develop strong relationships with Commercial across Europe and Canada to manage planning and strategy
input and contribute to an aligned IT / business strategy.
Promote opportunities for applying technology to business problems; champion introduction of new or improvement of existing tools and solutions. Facilitate change via process, information, or technology.
Negotiate and mediate between business and IT to find pragmatic solutions.
Partner closely with our European commercial operations and our affiliates in Europe and Canada; serve as focal point for all IT-related needs and issues in these countries. Represent IT on top management level in the European organization.
Manage European Commercial IT program through the entire project lifecycle. This includes the definition of new projects, development of proposals and business cases and project execution.
Facilitate operational IT service by collaborating with internal and external IT customer service providers.

Qualifications
Solid Pharmaceutical / Life Science industry knowledge
In-depth knowledge of Marketing / Sales functions
Broad IT Expertise, with a focus on commercial applications (e.g. customer relationship management, digital marketing, business intelligence)
State-of-the-art Business Analysis skills (incl. business process analysis / engineering, requirements engineering, information management, facilitation skills)
Proven people management skills
Solid Program and Project Management skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
