The Teach and Travel Project – Thailand by American TESOL Institute brings an amazing opportunity for teaching English in Thailand. This project guarantees 1 year ESL/TEFL job for all onsite/online qualified ESL teachers who want to travel and teach at the same time in the oriental land of culture and tradition i.e. Thailand. The eligible candidates who will sign up through the ‘Teach and Travel Project’ will be guaranteed ESL job in Thailand in International school for 1 Academic Year (August 2012 to July 2013) with housing.
The Program includes a Thai Cultural Orientation Program which is important and helpful to start your teaching career in Thailand.
Job Details:
Contract period : August 2012 – July 2013 (1 academic year)
Probation period : 3 months (from start working day)
Working hours : 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Mon-Fri
Teaching hours : 20 hours / week (30 mins / period)
Subjects : Various subjects
Age group/ grade level : Kindergarten (4-5 years old) and Primary (7-9 years old)
Responsibility :
1) Teaching and perform daily duties as assigned
2) Trips
3) Parent-teacher conference
4) Lesson planing
5) Students activities e.g. sports, performance/show, contest etc.
Salary and other Benefits
Position: Full time English Teacher
Contract: September 2012 to July 2013
Probation period : 3 months
Salary during probation period : 35,000 THB
Salary after probation period : 45,000 THB
Housing allowance : 3,000 THB paid monthly with salary after probation period
End of contract bonus (for 1st year) : 50,000 THB
Paid holidays: a. Public/ national holiday
b. Semester break 1) Mid December till new year 2) April
Thai cultural training course to familiarize to Thai culture
